Wild Wallaby - Cairns, Australia

While this is not a great photograph, it is one of the better stories from our visit to the Cairns Tropical Zoo in Queensland. We walked into the kangaroo enclosure with our food to feed the kangaroos and then spent time feeding this small wallaby. Only later did we learn that this animal was a freeloader. This is a wild wallaby which somehow gets over, under or through the 6 foot high fence to get into the free buffet.

The picture wasn’t worth a thousand words. The story is funnier than the picture.
