Radio Telescope - Narabri, Australia

I am willing to bet that even my most traveled friends (and yes Gary I mean you) have not been to Narabri Australia but one of the worlds leading radio telescopes is in Narrabri, the Australia Telescope Compact Array. I happen to have an uncle in Narrabri who took us out to see the radio telescope and adjacent museum. Narrabri is cotton country and boasts a cotton museum as well.

Nice. Where is this, Chris? I’d liked to have heard a bit more about it but the fact that it’s there is cool.

I actually have been geotagging images for a while now. At the bottom of most posts and all new ones it says “Posted from”. If you hover over that you will see a popup map.
